President’s Wrap Up
GRAND FINALS WEEK 2 2026 – Semi Final weekend for Seniors and Juniors!
Well, that’s a wrap for a very hot weekend.
SENIOR ACTION
It was a bittersweet mixed bag of results for our Senior teams.
Congratulations to our Men’s 3rds and Men’s Prems who won their semi final this weekend to earn their spot in the Final Dance next weekend at OAKES OVAL!
Congrats Lads. Awesome result and enjoy your grand final prep week – please don’t injure yourself at training!
Commiserations to our Women’s 4ths and Prems who bowed out of season 2026 today.
Women’s 4ths took on Thistles in hot windy conditions and opened the score in the first few minutes, but unfortunately went down 2-1 in the end!
Our Women’s Prems travelled in Feddy Luxury (thanks to our major sponsor The Federal Hotel for lending them the bus) to Pottsville – again in hot windy conditions – and despite a strong effort went down 5-1.
Next up for Seniors
One last shot at the season title for our Men’s 3rds and Prems.

JUNIOR ACTION
The last week of Junior Grand Finals was a mixed bag too!
U13 Mixed Div 1
Saturday saw our U13 Mixed Div 1 team line up against Byron and they brought home the silverware with a solid win 1-0!
Cementing their place in 2026 as both Minor Premiers (Pointscore Champions) and Major Premiers with Chase Standing being named player of the the match. Congratulations Coaches James Leslie and Pete Henwood, the whole team and Chase!
U15 Girls
Sunday saw our U15 Girls line up against Thistles, and unfortunately couldn’t get up to take the win! Congratulation for being Runners Up in 2026. Well done team and Coach Gregg Mitchell.
U13 Girls
Our last and final junior team Grand final was our U13 Girls led by our Men’s Prem coach Andrea Zubani – right off the back of the Men’s Prems semi final win yesterday!
The girls took the field against Byron and had a cracking game to take the silverware and steal the prize from Byron (point score champions) with a solid 3-0 win!
Congratulations to Lara Buckley who was the player of the match and scored a hat trick with all 3 winning goals.
